News flash

I am a bonafide news junkie. I watch the news programs, read news magazines, and peruse news websites constantly. I wake up in the middle of the night to watch the news. I wake up an hour earlier than I need to watch the morning news. Local news, national news, political news.

My favorite story today. Cheetah, the original Tarzan chimp, has taken up painting. I want one…BAD.

PPD No. 1,324

Poor Parental Decisions. We all make them. But some of those that my husband makes just amaze me. You’re in the zoo gift shop. There are literally thousands of cheap things to buy in the $1.00 to $5.00 range. And what directions does Adam steer Ethan? Toward the big, stupid lollipops. Never mind that it’s going to be a huge mess. Never mind that he’s going to whine about having it “now” the entire ride home. But what dumb ass wants to feed their kid that much pure suger?
Yes indeed. The honor of making Poor Parental Decision No. 1,324 goes to Adam. Hands down, top honors.

My Hate/Hate relationship with GW

Yes, the man continues to make me physically sick.

Thankfully, more and more people, politicians included, continue to realize that GW is a meglomaniac. The 238-194 vote to continue stem cell research was a rare defeat for President Bush in the Republican controlled House and may lead to the first veto of his presidency. God, the man is an idiot.

A running leap

I am so proud of myself. Two posts, one day. Holla.

One more…

…way for me to waste time. Better than other addictions. More poignant. Less fattening. Much healthier. We’ll see. Once again I have succumbed to the pressure of my peers, my compatriots, my friends.
